Kathie Lumbard
With over 20 years of experience partnering with Fortune 500 companies, Kathie has led strategic initiatives in sales, marketing, education, training, and client business development. Over the past 8 years, Kathie has honed her focus on helping businesses reach new heights through executive coaching and strategic business development. Specializing in leadership and organizational growth, Kathie works closely with director-level leaders and above, guiding them to leverage their strengths and drive sustainable success.
As the founder of HQ Consulting, Kathie delivers Fortune 500-level resources and development tools to small and mid-sized businesses, empowering them with the same strategies used by global leaders. Certified through Gallup’s Global Strengths Coaching program, Kathie employs a strengths-based approach to leadership and team development, helping companies and their teams achieve exceptional results.
A Kansas native, Kathie holds a degree in Business Science Management from Baker University, an Executive MBA from UMKC's Henry Bloch School of Business, and certification from Gallup’s ICF CCE Training Program. When not working with clients, Kathie enjoys spending time with family, traveling, and continuously pursuing new educational opportunities to bring the latest strategies to clients.
Brad Simmons
Brad has spend the better part of his career driving organizational change, enhancing quality, efficiency, and growth. By partnering with cross-functional teams, he has streamlined processes, clarified roles and responsibilities, and reduced risk. Brad understands that managing change and improving efficiency is a team effort and crucial to business success, even though it's not always the most popular topic. It’s at this intersection of communication and opportunity that he finds his passion for helping businesses thrive.
A Kansas native, Brad lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and two daughters.
Brad studied Advertising and Leadership Studies at Kansas State University and has worked for various media companies and advertising agencies, honing his expertise in how customer and employee experiences drive growth. Today, he uses those skills to create learning opportunities that build up others and strengthen teams.
He holds an EMBA through UMKC's Henry Bloch School of Business, which has further enhanced his value as a resource to clients and teams. When he's not teaching or coaching, Brad enjoys volunteering as athletic director at his kids school, listening to vinyl records, making homemade pizza, telling dad jokes, and searching for the best latte in the city.
Beth Garcia
Beth is an accomplished Business Transformation leader and a Leadership + Change Coach based in Chicago, Illinois. With a focus on driving strategic organizational design and change management practices, she delivers comprehensive business, process, and people solutions that result in transformative, lasting change.
As both an internal and external leadership coach and consultant, Beth partners with executives, companies, and Human Resources teams to develop leadership capabilities, enhance culture and DEI initiatives, and implement effective human capital strategies. Her work extends to collaborating with HR and Learning & Development departments to build robust coaching initiatives, craft specialized programs, and develop comprehensive onboarding and professional development plans. She is dedicated to improving retention and engagement through coaching frameworks, evidence-based methodologies, and proven development strategies.​
Beth is working to complete her Master’s degree in Learning and Organizational Change from Northwestern University as well as a certification in Leading Equity and Inclusion in Organizations. Beth is committed to fostering environments of continuous growth and leadership excellence.

​She has further honed her expertise through certifications from Northwestern’s Executive Learning and Organizational Change coaching program and as a Gallup-Certified Strengths Coach.
Beyond her corporate endeavors, Beth shares her passion for lifelong learning and inclusivity by teaching Brazilian Jiu Jitsu to adults and amateur fighters at a Chicago-based martial arts school, where she helps cultivate a supportive and inclusive training environment for students of all levels.
