Kathie Lumbard
I spent 16 years of my professional career partnering with Fortune 500 companies, leading various initiatives in sales, marketing, education, training, and client business development. Over the last 8 years, my focus has been on helping businesses go to the next level through the growth of their people and business development strategies. I am passionate about leadership development, team development, and helping organizations leverage their strengths for growth.

The Gallup approach to leadership, team training, and business development is the most researched approach to growth in the world and is utilized by 90% of Fortune 500 companies. HQ Consulting specializes in providing small to mid-size businesses with the same resources and development tools as large Fortune 500 companies. The Gallup approach to focusing on what is right, combined with the resources I’ve obtained over the last 25 years, provides companies and their teams with the direction necessary for empowering continued success. I pride myself in knowing that HQ Consulting goes beyond what’s expected and delivers the absolute best possible outcome.
I'm a Kansas native and live in the Prairie Village area with my husband and two daughters. My career had a nontraditional start—I completed my Associate in Applied Science in 2001. After being in practice as a Registered Dental Hygienist for a few years, I decided to pivot and pursue a professional career in business. This led me to a role in advertising. Within a couple of years, I began to partner with various Fortune 500 companies and graduated with honors from Baker University in 2009 with a degree in Business Science Management. In 2020, I attended Gallup's ICF CCE Training Program and obtained Gallup's Global Strength Certification. In May 2023, I completed my Executive MBA through UMKC's Henry Bloch School of Business. When I'm not coaching or teaching, you'll find me enjoying time with my family, traveling, and looking for educational opportunities to further my professional growth, allowing me to bring the most current strategies to my clients.
Brad has spend the better part of his career driving organizational change, enhancing quality, efficiency, and growth. By partnering with cross-functional teams, he has streamlined processes, clarified roles and responsibilities, and reduced risk. Brad understands that managing change and improving efficiency is a team effort and crucial to business success, even though it's not always the most popular topic. It’s at this intersection of communication and opportunity that he finds his passion for helping businesses thrive.
A Kansas native, Brad lives in the Kansas City area with his wife and two daughters.
Brad studied Advertising and Leadership Studies at Kansas State University and has worked for various media companies and advertising agencies, honing his expertise in how customer and employee experiences drive growth. Today, he uses those skills to create learning opportunities that build up others and strengthen teams. He holds an EMBA through UMKC's Henry Bloch School of Business, which has further enhanced his value as a resource to clients and teams.

When he's not teaching or coaching, Brad enjoys volunteering as athletic director at his kids school, listening to vinyl records, making homemade pizza, telling dad jokes, and searching for the best latte in the city.
